Zal Irregular Dinner plate
Named after Zal—the legendary white-haired hero of the Persian epic, the Shahnameh—and his beloved princess Rudaba, this piece embodies a striking blend of soft organic form and timeless strength.
Slow-made and high-fired in our South Australian studio, the Zal Plate features a beautifully tactile, gently undulating rim and a smooth, grounding surface. Designed for daily rituals, it moves effortlessly between roles: use it as a delicate small serving dish, a resting plate for your favorite incense, or a bedside tray for daily trinkets. Because every piece is entirely handmade in our studio, each plate carries its own unique glaze patterns and character.
