Sohni Bowl
Named after Sohni—the legendary Punjabi potter's daughter from the classic romance of Sohni & Mahiwal, who swam across the river each night using a baked clay vessel to reach her lover—this bowl honors the deep, elemental connection between maker, clay, and water.
Slow-made and high-fired in our South Australian studio, the Sohni Bowl features a comforting, thick-rimmed silhouette with an inviting, rounded form. Perfectly sized for a pinch pot in the kitchen, a resting spot for jewelry on your bedside table, or a soulful catch-all for small daily treasures. Because every piece is entirely handmade, each bowl carries its own unique glaze pooling and character.
